Over the last year, cleaning costs have increased across the board for one, two, and three-bedroom properties. However, three-bedroom cleaning costs in the state of Virginia have increased by as much as 4.43% in the past 3 quarters.
To better understand the context of the market, we have illustrated the historical average of rental cleaning costs in Virginia from 2020 Q1 to 2020 Q4. This data comes from completed TurnoverBnB projects and is not priced by the company.
1-bedroom rentals, represented by the dotted yellow line, have not shown any substantial changes besides a small price fluctuation since Q1 of 2020. 1-bedroom rentals have been plateauing at a price range between $40-$50. 2-bedroom rentals, indicated by the dotted purple line, have also staggered between increasing and dropping in price since Q2 of 2020. Notably, 2-bedroom rentals have been increasing steadily since Q4 of 2020. Lastly, 3-bedroom rentals, depicted by the dotted turquoise line, have increased by as much as 4.43%, more than one and two-bedrooms.
Overall, despite industry growth in Virginia Q1 of 2021, average cleaning costs in Virginia are remaining in the same range. All rental sizes have seen growth in the past quarter, and in the past year.
